Comvest Partners has hired Ashley Ciaburri Rainwater as the firm’s new Director of Investor Relations. Ms. Rainwater joins Comvest with over 10 years of experience raising private equity funds and will be responsible for marketing and capital raising campaigns, as well as investor relations activities.

Prior to joining Comvest, Ms. Rainwater was the Director of Marketing and Investor Relations at Kohlberg & Company, where she was responsible for sourcing limited partner relationships and fundraising for Kohlberg’s eighth fund, Kohlberg Investors VIII, LP, which had a final closing in December 2016 at its hard cap of $2.2 billion. Prior to Kohlberg, she worked at Blackstone in the Park Hill Private Equity Group, after starting her career in investment banking at Citigroup. Ms. Rainwater holds a BS from Cornell University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Comvest Partners provides debt and equity to middle-market companies. For debt investments the firm will invest from $10 million to $50 million per transaction in companies with at least $15 million of revenue and EBITDA of at least $3 million. For equity investments the firm will invest from $35 million to $125 million of equity per transaction in companies with $50 million to $1 billion of revenue that have positive or negative EBITDA.
