J.F. Lehman Gets New Principal

J.F. Lehman & Company, a specialist investor in the defense, aerospace and maritime sectors, has promoted William Hanenberg from Vice President to Principal.

“Will has played key roles in many J.F. Lehman transactions during his nine years at the firm,” said Louis Mintz, Partner. “His accomplishments are many, and his work has added significant value to our portfolio companies.”  Mr. Hanenberg currently serves as a director of American Scaffold and Ravn Air Group and is also involved in the firm’s investment in National Response Corporation.

Mr. Hanenberg joined the firm in 2008 as an Associate and has been promoted four times.  Prior to joining J.F. Lehman, he was an investment banking analyst in the industrials group at Banc of America Securities. Mr. Hanenberg has a BS in economics from Duke University and an MBA from Columbia University

J.F. Lehman & Company was founded by Dr. John Lehman, who served six years as Secretary of the United States Navy. To date, J.F. Lehman has made investments in companies with an aggregate transaction value of approximately $1.6 billion.
