Angeles Closes Fund I

Angeles Equity Partners has closed Angeles Equity Partners I, LP (AEP I) with $360 million in capital. This is the firm’s first private equity fund and was oversubscribed, exceeding its target of $300 million.

Limited partners in AEP I include institutional investors, including public and private pension plans, endowments, foundations, a sovereign wealth fund, and alternative asset managers in North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

In the last year, AEP I has invested in ERP Power (June 2016), a manufacturer of electronics for used in LED lighting applications based near Los Angeles in  Moorpark, CA (www.erp-power.com); and Applied Acoustics International (February 2016), a tier-one automotive supplier specializing in noise, vibration and harshness products based south of Chicago in Chicago Heights, IL (www.aainvh.com).
