TPG Capital has announced that Jack Daly has joined the firm as a Partner. Mr. Daly most recently served as a Partner and Managing Director of the US industrials private equity team at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Daly will be a sector leader with a focus on TPG Capital’s investments in the industrials space. He will be based in the firm’s San Francisco office.
“Jack’s experience as an investor and director in a variety of global industrial and technology businesses will be a significant asset to the firm,” said Todd Sisitsky, Managing Partner at TPG Capital. “His extensive sector leadership, insight, and operational know-how will be integral as we build on our momentum across TPG Capital and continue to expand the firm’s presence in the industrial space.”
Mr. Daly has more than 20 years of investing experience in the industrial and technology sectors. Before his time in the industrial group at Goldman Sachs, he focused on communications, media, and entertainment in the firm’s investment banking division. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Daly served as a senior instructor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at Case Western and as visiting professor of industrial engineering at Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand. He has BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from Case Western and an MBA from Wharton.
