TA Associates has expanded its investment team with the re-hirings of Michael Libert and Lee Mooney as vice presidents in Boston, and Sarah Wang as a new vice president in Menlo Park.

Mr. Libert will focus on investments in technology companies across North America. Prior to attending graduate school, he served as an associate in the Boston office of TA Associates. He previously was an associate consultant in the private equity and technology groups at Bain & Company. Mr. Libert has an AB in Economics from Harvard and an MBA from the Stanford.
Mr. Mooney will focus on investments in consumer and healthcare companies across North America. Prior to attending graduate school, he served as an associate in the firm’s Boston office. He previously served as an analyst in the healthcare investment banking group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Mr. Mooney has a BS in Finance from Penn State and an MBA from Harvard.
Ms. Wang will focus on investments in financial and business services companies across North America. Prior to attending graduate school, she was a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. She previously served as a capital markets analyst at Morgan Stanley. Ms. Wang has an AB in Economics from Harvard and an MBA from Stanford.
