Comvest Partners has added Brad Nii to the firm as a Managing Director in Comvest’s direct lending group, Comvest Capital. Mr. Nii will be based in Los Angeles and will be responsible for originating, structuring and managing debt investment opportunities, as well as leading Comvest Capital’s West Coast coverage efforts.

Prior to joining Comvest, Mr. Nii was a Managing Director for Monroe Capital where he was responsible for the origination of debt opportunities on the west coast. Earlier in his career he was the head of the west region sponsor finance group for American Capital. In addition to his lending career, Mr. Nii was an investment banker at B. Riley & Co. and Lehman Brothers. He began his career as a certified public accountant at Ernst & Young. Mr. Nii graduated from the University of Southern California.
Comvest Capital invests from $10 million to $50 million per transaction in companies that have revenue greater than $15 million and EBITDA greater than $3 million. Investment types include senior secured; unitranche; first in last out (FILO) facilities; second lien; mezzanine; and equity co-investments. Sectors of interest include business and financial services; education; healthcare; specialty finance; technology; and transportation.
