3PL Central, a provider of cloud-based third party logistics and warehouse management software, has acquired Traker Systems (iTracker), a provider of cloud-based inventory control software. 3PL Central has been a portfolio company of Mainsail Partners since November 2015.
With this add-on acquisition, the combined companies will now deliver a suite of warehouse management, inventory control and logistics software to over 1,300 customers globally. 3PL Central is led by CEO John Watkins and is headquartered in Manhattan Beach, CA (www.3plcentral.com). iTracker is headquartered in Temecula, CA (www.itracker.net).
“The addition of iTracker’s team augments 3PL Central’s expertise in transportation, cold storage and light manufacturing,” said Mr. Watkins. “We see business-to consumer continuing to outpace business-to-business, driving the need for solutions that focus on eCommerce, as well as pick, pack and ship.”
Mr. Watkins will continue in his role as CEO of the combined company, and Rich Moline, President of iTracker, will become EVP of Enterprise and Strategic Accounts at 3PL Central.
