Placement agent MVision Private Equity Advisers has hired Loren Boston as a senior managing director. Mr. Boston will be working from MVision’s New York office.
Mr. Boston was most recently President and COO of Hycroft – a specialized investment bank – and for fifteen years prior to that Mr. Boston focused exclusively on fund raising as the global head of origination for Merrill Lynch’s Private Equity Funds Group from 2004 to 2010, and as head of the Private Equity Funds Group at Citigroup from 1999 to 2004. He also held senior fund raising positions at Eaton Partners and BT Alex Brown.
Mr. Boston will work alongside Mounir Guen and Hussein Khalifa, founders of MVision, on the continuing expansion and build-up of the firm’s position in the market. “I have known Mounir “Moose” Guen for many years, both as a good friend and strong competitor,” said Mr. Boston. “I am committed to originating and executing mandates for leading private equity firms, and there is no better place to do that than MVision.”
