Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney & Company (HKW) has promoted Kent Robinson to the position of Principal and Ryan Grand to Vice President, Deal Generation.

Kent Robinson joined HKW as a Vice President, Operations in April 2015. He works with HKW portfolio companies on improvement opportunities and support projects. Prior to joining HKW, he served in several management and executive leadership roles in finance, manufacturing, sales & marketing and as COO of a high-security division within Stanley Security, a division of Stanley Black & Decker. From 1999 to 2006 Mr. Robinson worked for JohnsonDiversey and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in various supply chain and finance roles. He earned his BS in Industrial Engineering and his MBA from Purdue University.
Ryan Grand joined HKW as a Manager, Deal Generation in October 2014. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an investment banker in the public finance sector at both Jefferies and Mesirow Financial. He earned his BA in Psychology from Wabash College and his MBA from the University of Chicago.
