Stonecourt Capital has been formed by two former Lindsay Goldberg professionals to invest in logistics and distribution, petrochemicals, industrial services, consumer products and midstream energy companies.
Lance Hirt, who was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley before spending 13 years as a partner at private equity firm Lindsay Goldberg, will lead the new firm as its managing partner. Jaime Buehl-Reichard, who also spent more than a decade at Lindsay Goldberg, most recently as a managing director, will be a co-founding partner.
Mr. Hirt and Ms. Buehl-Reichard will be joined at Stonecourt by David Lumpkins and Nathan Ticatch, co-founders and former senior executives of PetroLogistics, a Houston-based maker of propylene and a former portfolio company of Lindsay Goldberg. Publicly-traded PetroLogistics was acquired by Koch Industries in June 2014 for $2.1 billion.
