Pharos Closes Physical Therapy Add-on

cpt nf1MOTION PT Group, a portfolio company of Pharos Capital Group, has acquired Community Physical Therapy. MOTION was acquired by Pharos in June 2015.

cpt nf11Community Physical Therapy (CPT) offers one-on-one physical therapy services out of three locations, one each in the New York boroughs of Queens, Manhattan and Brooklyn. The company treats conditions including cervical and lumbar pain, post-operative conditions, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, balance disorders, gait disorders, general weakness and deconditioning, postural dysfunctions, sports injuries, chronic pain and fibromyalgia. CPT was founded by the Dr. Roslyn Sofer in 1981, and she and her son, Dr. David Sofer, will continue in their roles with the company. The rest of the CPT staff will join MOTION PT Group as well (www.cptclinic.com).
