Main Post Partners has made an investment in JC BroMac Corporation and EagleRider, Inc. (dba EagleRider), a provider of motorcycle equipment and travel tours.
EagleRider is described as the “world’s largest motorcycle experience company”. More technically, the company operates a network of more than 100 travel agencies and tour operators that rent, sell and service motorcycles, and produce both self-guided and guided motorcycle travel tours. The company specializes in Harley-Davidson, Indian, BMW, Honda and Triumph motorcycles. EagleRider was founded by motorcycle enthusiasts Chris McIntyre and Jeff Brown in 1992 and is headquartered southwest of Los Angeles in Hawthorne, CA (www.eaglerider.com).
“Since 1992, we have built the preeminent brand in motorcycle adventure travel. Given our growth and substantial expansion opportunities, we embarked on a search for a partner who could help us execute our plan to make EagleRider the ubiquitous brand for two-wheel motorized travel experiences around the world,” said Mr. McIntyre, CEO of EagleRider. “We are thrilled to partner with the team at Main Post and tap their expertise in building consumer brands in the next chapter of this exciting ride.”
Main Post Partners invests in lower middle market growth companies in the consumer, business services and industrial growth sectors. The firm was founded in April 2014 by managing partners Sean Honey and Jeffrey Mills, both former partners at Weston Presidio. Main Post Partners is headquartered in San Francisco (www.mainpostpartners.com).
“Chris, Jeff and the team at EagleRider have built a category-defining company with a service offering that addresses the growing market of motorcycle enthusiasts seeking unique experiences around the globe,” said Mr. Honey. “EagleRider is poised for continued rapid growth and we look forward to working with the team to help them fulfill their vision and reach their goals.”
“We believe we are in the early stages of a massive opportunity to make the motorcycle travel experience accessible to a vast global audience. It was essential that we find a partner who embraces our vision and shares our passion for what we are building,” said Mr. Brown, Chief Operating Officer of EagleRider.
