D.A. Davidson adds Cleveland to Seattle

dadco nf7Investment bank D.A. Davidson & Co. has hired Jeff Cleveland as a managing director in its consumer and retail practice. Mr. Cleveland will be based in the firm’s Seattle office.

“Jeff’s tremendous track record and strong relationships in the food and beverage, and consumer space make him a terrific addition to our team,” said Monte Giese, co-head of investment banking at D.A. Davidson. “Our consumer and retail team has developed a very strong practice, having completed 16 transactions in the last 12 months, and Jeff’s addition will accelerate this success.”

jeff cleveland nf1Mr. Cleveland has over a decade of experience in the food and beverage and consumer investment banking market. Prior to joining D.A. Davidson, he was at Seattle-based investment bank Zachary Scott from 2014 to 2016 where he established the firm’s food, beverage and agriculture practice. From 2006 to 2014 he was a founding member of Harris Williams & Co.’s Minneapolis office and its Global Food & Beverage and Consumer Investment Banking practices. Earlier still, he worked at Piper Jaffray in its investment banking group. Mr. Cleveland has an MBA from the University of Texas and a BA in finance from Santa Clara University.
