Monomoy Capital Partners has added Phil Arra to its investment team as a Managing Director and the Head of Business Development. Mr. Arra will be tasked with sourcing new transactions for Monomoy from corporate sellers, family owners, intermediaries and other business owners.

Mr. Arra has over 20 years of private equity and investment banking experience in the middle market and comes to Monomoy from Terra Verde Partners, a firm founded by Mr. Arra that focuses on investments in the environmental sector. Prior to Terra Verde, he was a Managing Director with Hunt Special Situations Group where he focused on corporate divestitures, restructuring and turnaround investments. Mr. Arra’s work experience also includes time at J.P. Morgan and at KSL Fairways, an affiliate of KKR. He holds an MBA from Wharton and a BBA in Finance from James Madison University.
