Huntington Rebrands as HCAP

hcap nf1San Diego-based Huntington Capital, led by partners Tim Bubnack, Morgan Miller and Frank Mora, has rebranded itself as HCAP Partners.

HCAP is a provider of mezzanine and equity capital to lower middle market companies throughout the western United States.  The firm invests from $2 million to $9 million in businesses generating between $10 million and $75 million in revenues.   Areas of interest for HCAP include the healthcare, technology, services and manufacturing industries.

HCAP is presently investing from HCAP Fund III, LP, a $92 million fund that closed in December 2014.  The firm’s most recent investment was a $3.5 million mezzanine loan and equity investment in Reno Assisted Living (DBA Summit Estates), a new 116 bed senior living community in South Reno, NV. HCAP has invested in over 50 companies since its founding in 2000 and is known for being proactive in working with portfolio companies to create value.  The firm is based in San Diego (www.hcapllc.com).
