Sorenson Capital has promoted LeGrand Lewis to managing director. Mr. Lewis is active at Sorenson in both portfolio company management and transaction processing and sourcing.
Since joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Lewis has played an active in several key investments made by Sorenson Capital. Most recently, Mr. Lewis led the firm’s April 2015 investment in Cradlepoint, a Boise-based provider of cloud-managed 4G LTE networking services. In addition to being a board member of Cradlepoint, Mr. Lewis serves as a member of the board of directors for RTC, an aerospace component manufacturer; Suncrest Solar, a provider of residential solar energy systems; ReBath, a provider of bathroom remodeling services; IDC, a provider of LED lighting products; and he is the chairman of the board for weBoost (formerly Wilson Electronics), a provider of cell phone signal booster products.

Mr. Lewis joined Sorenson Capital in 2008 from Bain & Company where he advised clients in the aerospace manufacturing, telecommunications, oil and gas, retail, airline, food processing, and chemicals industries. He has an MBA degree from Harvard and a BS degree in accounting from Brigham Young.
Sorenson Capital invests from $10 million to $40 million in small to middle-market buyout and growth equity opportunities with a particular focus on companies located in the Mountain and Western regions of the US.
