Clearview Capital Acquires Quest

qest nf1GCR, a portfolio company of Clearview Capital, has acquired Quest Information Systems from its founder, Steve McNear. The transaction is the first add-on acquisition since GCR was acquired in December 2011.

Quest provides software that is used by state and local governments to manage voter information and registration, elections, and campaign finance information.  Quest’s systems can be customized and integrated to meet the needs of individual jurisdictions.  The company is headquartered in Indianapolis (www.questis.com).

GCR offers a range of consulting services that help clients gather, analyze and apply information, from custom developed software to information management and other professional services. The company has a specific expertise in the aviation sector, which makes up approximately one-third of its business.  The remainder of the company’s customer base includes an array of public sector clients, primarily at the state and local level, as well as law firms, utilities and other commercial clients.
