Middle market investment bank Capstone Partners has hired Todd McMahon as a new Managing Director. Mr. McMahon will lead the firm’s Business Services industry practice and will be based in Capstone’s headquarters office in Boston.
During his career, Mr. McMahon has operated several businesses in a CEO capacity and, as an M&A professional, provided advisory services to clients in various industries including business and consumer services, manufacturing, environmental services and technology.

Prior to joining Capstone, Mr. McMahon was the President of Array Financial Services, a Boston-based boutique M&A advisory firm that he founded in 2002. He began his career at Putnam Investments, later moving to Bank Boston’s Emerging Markets investment banking group. Mr. McMahon also served as Managing Director at Ross Crossland Weston/RCW Mirus, where he was responsible for managing the firm’s technology investment banking practice.
Mr. McMahon’s investment banking experience is complemented by his involvement as an entrepreneur and investor in a number of environmental service companies where he was responsible for managing all aspects of operations and was involved in various consolidation transactions, as well as raising debt and equity financing.
Mr. McMahon earned his MBA from Boston University and his BA from the University of Massachusetts.
