Thompson Street Capital Partners has acquired Stone Panels, a producer of natural stone composite panels and stone veneers. Brookside Mezzanine Partners provided subordinated debt and an equity co-investment in support of the transaction.
Stone Panels is a producer of natural stone composite panels and stone veneers. The company manufactures natural stone composite panels for a wide variety of building construction, retrofit and design applications worldwide and is best known for its StoneLite® brand of panels, which can be as much as 80% lighter than traditional “heavy” stone, resulting in significantly lower structural building and installation costs. Thompson Street Capital Partners makes investments in manufacturing, service and distribution businesses with annual revenues between $20 million and $200 million, and a minimum EBITDA of $5 million.
