midland nf1Arbor Investments has sold its portfolio company MidCon Holdings, the owner of Great Lakes Packaging and Midland Container, to Green Bay Packaging.

Midland Container, acquired by Arbor in 2008, is a producer of corrugated packaging and display products such as corrugated shipping containers, custom-designed industrial packaging and full-color point-of-purchase displays. The company serves the consumer, industrial, and food & beverage sectors. Midland Container is based in Franksville, WI (www.midlandpkg.com).

Great Lakes Packaging, acquired by Arbor in 2012, is a manufacturer and distributor of corrugated packaging, point-of-purchase displays and specialty packaging products. The company was founded in 1963 and is based in Germantown, WI (www.glpc.com).

Arbor invests in the food & beverage and related industries. The firm has acquired or invested in over 32 food & beverage companies in North America and currently has $600 million of assets under management across three funds. Arbor was founded in 1999 and is based in Chicago (www.arborpic.com).
