Maranon Provides Mezz to CIVC Buy of KPA

Maranon Capital has made a mezzanine investment to back the recent acquisition of KPA Services by CIVC Partners and company management. This is the first investment from Maranon Mezzanine Fund II, LP.

KPA Services provides environmental health and safety compliance, and human resource management services to over 5,100 automotive, truck and equipment dealerships, and service companies. Customers include eight of the ten largest dealer groups. KPA Services is headquartered north of Denver in Lafayette, CO (www.kpaonline.com).

Maranon Capital provides senior financing, mezzanine debt and equity co-investments for private equity-backed and non-sponsored middle market transactions. CIVC invests from $15 million to $85 million in middle-market companies that have revenues from $40 million to $300 million and minimum EBITDAs of $5 million.
