TA Associates has made an addition to its investment staff in Boston with the hiring of Clara Jackson as a Vice President in the firm’s Services Group.

Ms. Jackson is responsible for investments in business, financial and other services companies. She joined TA Associates from Fireman Capital Partners where she served as a Vice President leading deal sourcing, due diligence and transaction execution for buyout and growth equity investments in the consumer and retail sector. Ms. Jackson was previously an Associate at TPG Growth where she worked on leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments and private investments in public equities, with a focus on the healthcare, consumer and retail, and financial sectors. She began her career at Goldman Sachs & Co. as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group. Ms. Jackson received a BS in Economics from Vanderbilt University and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.
