Investment bank Brock Capital Group has added O. James Sterling, III as managing director in the firm’s M&A transaction advisory group. Mr. Sterling is a senior investment banker with expertise in aviation and aerospace and with additional transaction experience in the technology, transportation & logistics, manufacturing and healthcare industries.
Mr. Sterling was previously a managing director and head of investment banking at Aleutian Capital Group where he led buy-side and sell-side M&A engagements involving public and private companies and private equity firms. Prior to Aleutian, he was a management consultant at Booz & Company where he led projects in business strategy and operations improvement for Fortune 500 aviation and aerospace clients including United Airlines, Boeing, Eaton and Delta. Earlier, Mr. Sterling was a member of Renwick Capital Management, a hedge fund investing in public equities, derivatives, real estate and private equity transactions. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Boston University.
