A.T. Kearney Expands Private Equity Practice

kearney nf1Management consulting firm A.T. Kearney has expanded its private equity practice with the hiring of three new partners, Mark Anglin, Michael Dart, and Todd Hooper. Messrs. Anglin, Dart, and Hooper are specialists in the consumer goods and retail sectors and come to A.T. Kearney from management and strategy consulting firm Kurt Salmon.

dartMichael Dart has more than 20 years of experience leading strategic transformations and conducting due diligence for many of the largest private equity funds and global retailers. He specializes in due diligence and growth strategy, across all consumer and retail sectors. Mr. Dart was recognized by Consulting magazine in 2010 as one of its Top 25 Consultants. He also co-authored The New Rules of Retail, which was featured on three Amazon bestseller lists. At Kurt Salmon he was a senior partner and led the firm’s private equity and strategy practice. Previously, he was a partner with Bain & Company. Mr. Dart will be based in A.T. Kearney’s San Francisco office.

hooperTodd Hooper has more than 25 years of experience working alongside private equity investors and consumer industry leaders on growth strategy development, portfolio company performance improvements, and due diligence efforts. At Kurt Salmon he was a partner in its private equity and strategy practice and he also served as vice chairman of the firm’s global partner board. Previously, Mr. Hooper was managing director and chief financial officer of Swander Pace & Company before it merged with Kurt Salmon Associates in 2000.

anglinMark Anglin is a due diligence and growth strategy expert with more than 20 years of management consulting experience. He has served many of the leading and mid-size private equity firms investing in the retail and consumer sectors in both the US and Asia. At Kurt Salmon, Mr. Anglin was a partner in its’ private equity and strategy practice. He will be based in A.T. Kearney’s San Francisco office.
