Saugatuck Capital has added Joseph Solari to the firm as a Partner and Managing Director. Mr. Solari will be responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing investments for Saugatuck.
Prior to joining Saugatuck, Mr. Solari spent four years as a Managing Director at Metropolitan Equity Partners investing both debt and equity in lower middle-market private companies. Over the past decade he has also helped manage the assets and investments of G*Ventures Management, a closely held concern with interests including real estate and energy assets. During this time Mr. Solari also led the direct private company and asset investments for several related families with G*Investments. Over the course of his career, he has served in corporate and business development roles with a range of companies from early-stage to Fortune 100 businesses. Mr. Solari graduated with a BA in Government from Georgetown University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
Saugatuck Capital invests in leveraged recapitalizations, buyouts, and growth equity investments in the lower middle-market. Saugatuck seeks companies with revenues of $15 million to $125 million in fragmented service and manufacturing industries.
