Calera Acquires HR Plus

hr nfSterling Infosystems, a background check company and a portfolio company of Calera Capital, has acquired HR Plus.

HR Plus is a provider of background screening, drug and occupational health screening and fingerprinting services. The company was formerly a division of Allied Barton Security Services. HR Plus is based in Chicago (www.hrplus.com).

Sterling Infosystems is one of the largest background check companies in the world. Calera Capital acquired the company in December 2010. Sterling was founded in 1976 by William Greenblatt and is based in New York (www.sterlinginfosystems.com).
