Dubin Clark Acquires Dinan Engineering

B&M Racing & Performance Products, a portfolio company of Dubin Clark, has acquired Dinan Engineering, a provider of high-performance products for BMW automobiles. This is the fifth add-on acquisition for B&M Racing since being acquired by Dubin Clark. The other add-ons include Hurst Shifters, Hurst Driveline Conversions, Flowmaster and Classic Motorsports Group.

Dinan Engineering develops, manufactures and markets a line of high-performance products such as engine, driveline and chassis tuning components, that are distributed through a network of Authorized Dinan BMW Performance Centers including BMW dealerships and independent BMW service/high-performance facilities. The company is also a supplier of racing engines to BMW for the Rolex Grand Am series. The company was founded in 1979 and is based in Morgan Hill, CA (www.dinancars.com).

B&M Racing & Performance Products is a designer, manufacturer and marketer of performance and racing drive train products and accessories. The company was founded in 1953 and is headquartered in Los Angeles (www.bmracing.com).

Dubin Clark seeks to acquire manufacturing, value-added distribution, and service companies with $10 million to $100 million in revenues and at least $2 million of EBITDA. The firm was founded in 1984 and is based in Greenwich, CT (www.dubinclark.com).
