Ampersand Capital Partners has added Cecil Kost to its team as an Operating Partner. Mr. Kost will be involved in identifying and evaluating new platform investments as well as assisting on the existing portfolio investments of Ampersand.
Mr. Kost has more than 30 years of healthcare operating experience in Ampersand’s target investment segments including laboratory/diagnostics products, pharmaceutical services and medical products. Most recently he served as President and CEO of Precision Dynamics, a manufacturer of patient identification products. Prior experience includes serving as CEO of MedManage Systems and President/COO of Oncor. He began his career at Curtin Matheson Scientific, a distributor of lab products and clinical diagnostics, where he spent nearly 20 years serving in senior management roles prior to its acquisition by Fisher Scientific. Mr. Kost has a BS degree from Tulane University.
