“We are pleased to welcome Peter to Atlantic-Pacific. His wealth of experience in evaluating alternative investment opportunities will provide significant benefits to all our clients,” said Mark Bourgeois, CEO and President of Atlantic-Pacific.

Mr. Larsen has 14 years of experience in the alternative investment industry and has worked with institutional clients, including corporate and public pension programs, Taft-Hartley plans and sovereign wealth funds.

Prior to joining Atlantic-Pacific, Mr. Larsen was a Principal at Hamilton Lane Advisors where he worked for 11 years. During his tenure at Hamilton Lane, Mr. Larsen worked in New York, Philadelphia and London, leading the evaluation of buyout, venture capital, mezzanine, credit and real estate private equity funds. Previously, Mr. Larsen worked in the Private Funds Group at WR Hambrecht + Co., a private equity placement agent, and in the institutional and trading department at Charles Schwab Capital markets. He earned a BA from Bucknell University and an MBA from Columbia University.

Founded in 1995, Atlantic-Pacific Capital has raised over $50 billion for alternative asset managers seeking private capital. Typical projects include private equity, real estate, and infrastructure fund placements, as well as private placement financings in support of acquisitions, buyouts, and growth capital transactions. The firm has relationship managers and advisors in New York, Greenwich, Chicago, San Francisco, London, and Hong Kong (www.apcap.com).

“Atlantic-Pacific’s selective and customized approach has proven especially effective in today’s fundraising climate,” said Mr. Larsen. “I am excited to expand the firm’s due diligence process in order to continue the focus on best-in-class managers.”
