Calvert Street Capital Partners has added John Wissel to its investment team.
Prior to joining Calvert Street, Mr. Wissel was an Executive Director at CIBC/Oppenheimer in the Business Services and Consumer Investment Banking group. During his time there, he worked on numerous sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions as well as public equity and debt offerings. Prior to CIBC/Oppenheimer, Mr. Wissel spent almost eight years working for Ernst & Young in assurance and transaction advisory roles.
Mr. Wissel earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a BBA in Accounting from Loyola University Maryland.
Calvert Street makes control investments in niche manufacturing and business service companies that have a minimum of $5 million of EBITDA and are located in the US or Canada. The firm is based in Baltimore (www.cscp.com).
