Mesirow Financial today announced that Brian Price has been named vice president and chief operating officer of the firm’s Investment Banking group and Brad Collins has been promoted to associate.
“Mesirow Financial’s Investment Banking group has experienced significant growth over the past several years through the addition of several senior professionals, the expansion into new industry sectors and geographic locations, and the generation of record revenues. As a result of this growth, and in order ensure that we continue to provide the high level of service that we promise to every client, we have chosen to formalize a role charged with the management of the department’s day-to-day operations,” said Jeffrey Golman, vice chairman and head of Mesirow Financial Investment Banking.

Mr. Price joined Mesirow Financial’s Investment Banking group as an analyst in 2006. In his new role, he will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the group including the oversight of recruiting and professional development, business development and quality control. He will also continue providing transaction advisory services. Mr. Price has experience advising across a variety of industries, including paper and packaging, diversified manufacturing, business services, consumer products and aerospace and defense. He holds a BS from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and is an MBA candidate at The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Mr. Collins joined the firm’s Investment Banking group as an analyst in 2010. He has experience providing advisory services across a variety of industry sectors. Prior to joining Mesirow Financial, he served as an analyst at KPMG Corporate Finance and as a senior associate in the Transaction Services group at KPMG where he focused on merger and acquisition advisory. Mr. Collins holds a BS and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
